Our little man is finally coming home...

Payden and I leave February 9 from RDU on United ... We fly to Washington, DC then to BEIJING.. Patrick will join our family on Feb. 12. New rules in Beijing are making our stay in BEIJING longer- till February 22. Our next stop will be Guangzhou at the famous White Swan for 5 days.. We will return to the wonderful USA February 27 at 9:30 pm. God is so good, I am going to be a mom to another son.... I love my children and they are my life... Patrick will be the" icing on the cake" for this "seasoned" mom......
When I was a young and a newly wed, teaching in New Bern , NC I was asked if I could care for a child in my classroom whose mother was having a difficult time in life..At the time it was not something my husband wanted to do. I reluctantly told the mother I couldn't do this.... I carried this child in my heart for many years. I now have an adopted daughter who looks just like this little girl who touched my heart.... Another miracle in my life was my desire for a Chinese baby. My ex husband traveled to China twice a year and I would talk to him about adopting a baby from China. He was not opened to that idea, and the best thing he could offer me was a Chinese doll wrapped in a blanket when he returned home from one of his yearly trips.

But my dream is coming true..... Ask and you shall receive..... Patrick Arlington Cherry... PAC

God bless you and your family. I am a "WC/SN" advocate! I worked/volunteered at various orphanages in Korea for 6 years and little boys this age are SOOO much fun. They have not been exposed to all our American boys have, so everything is new and exciting!
We adopted a 2 year old daughter from Korea 2.5 years ago, our adoption of a 10 year old boy fell thru due to a Korean family getting precidence, so we are again searching for an older brother (other than our bio sons ages 32 and 23) for Jeongah.-
Have an awesome trip, remember personal DC players and DVD players do wonders for fun and "homesickness" for the older ones to adjust help in learning new languages also!
Hugs and prayers
