Our First Dentist Appointment

Who would have thought that Knightdale, NC had a Chinese dentist? Well they do and Patrick and I went yesterday to get an overall picture of what is going on in his mouth. I didn't know that Cleft children sometimes don't have all the their permanent teeth. You can imagine what's inside a child mouth who has never been exposed to floride or visited the dentist in 6 years. Patrick was a trooper. He told the dentist in Chinese " Do what you have to do, I am a big boy"
My neighbor is a receptionist with this dentist and she got us the quick appointment.
Diagnosis: cleft repair good, two permanent teeth missing, two teeth have to be pulled, and 3 capped... so all in all a good day..
Patrick is amazing .. 3 days in school and doing great..
