WE are home...

We are home and everything is finally coming together. Patrick received a grand welcome home. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful neighborhood. Aunt Joanne and Aunt Pam were there and we were happy to see family.... Trey and Megan were waitng and we had a welcome home party at 11:30. He is so happy to be here. He loves everyone that comes near him. He also has a very short fuse,because he is frustrated.
Can you believe Patrick went to school Friday and made it till 1:45..our goal was about 1 hour for the first day. I wanted to make sure he knew I would come back. My boy was so happy until the class started watching ... The Cat in The Hat..then he missed me. It is amazing how this had helped Payden mature. She is the big sister now. She went to Robin's to spend the night, and about 2 o'clock at night she wanted to come home. She said she missed her brother.
Last night we went to a Chinese restaurant so he could talk to someone and eat something familiar. He told the Chinese lady he was 20 years old, and he was happy to be adopted. This is what he put on his plate from the Chinese buffet bar"
macaroni, french fries with ketchup, biscuits and shrimp.. so much for a Chinese night out...
